Di Vito Modugno
Born in Bari in 1962, he began the musical studies ever since his childhood under his father's guide, playing piano, organ, electric bass and double-bass. His first performance took place at the age of five, while in 1973 he made his father's orchestra. In 1983 was awarded to him a prize in a competition called " Italian pianist bowl". He also attended some advanced studies about piano with the teachers Medori and Caporali, some jazz seminars with Pat Metheny and Michael Brecker, with whom he played in jam session, and furthermore he attended Siena jazz courses. He collaborated with various musicians such as Irio De Paula, Urbie Green, Tony Scott, Ettore Fioravanti, Massimo Manzi, Bruno Marini, Tiziana Ghiglioni, Stefano D'Anna, Fabrizio Bosso, and with various pop music singers, like Rossana Casale and Patty Pravo. Since 1985 he has been teaching at the Pentagramma of Bari.
